Alex Chell
Alex is married with two boys. Her eldest son is just about to start in the top group and his little brother will follow in his footsteps and become a Stepping Stone boy as soon as he is old enough! They have lived in Knebworth for a little over a year and love being part of the village. Alex is a stay-at-home mum who juggles working part-time from home as a freelance graphic designer.
Charlotte Cosson
Charlotte has a daughter and a son in the top and middle groups respectively. She is currently on maternity leave following the birth of her second son in May, and hopes to return to her part-time job as an accountant in the New Year.
Dawn Ogilvie
Dawn is a single parent with a daughter in the top group who has been at the school since September 2008. We were recommended to Stepping Stone by our neighbour whose boys both attended at the time.
Although we live in Great Ashby, with our cat Archimedes (although Archie is less of a mouthful!), we don't mind the travelling as it's a great school! Dawn has just finished three years of full-time study to finish her degree and then become a primary school teacher and is now taking some time off to enjoy her daughter's last term before starting reception.
Natalie Von Sivers
Natalie lives in Knebworth with Sam, their three children and two Siamese cats. Her older daughter used to go to Stepping Stone and is now at Knebworth School, her son is currently in the middle group and her younger daughter should start preschool in about a year. At the moment, Natalie is enjoying staying at home with the children.
Natasha Daily
Natasha has been with her partner Steve for 6 1/2 years and they have one daughter who joined the smalls group in May. They have lived in Knebworth for 2 years, Natasha being from Hitchin originally so almost a local. Although Natasha is a full time working mum, she joined the committee as treasurer because she felt she wanted to contribute something to the preschool and her daughter's future.
Rachel Bragg
Rachel has a son in the middle group and another son to start year one at Knebworth School and who also went to Stepping Stone. She is currently a full time mum but also works three evenings a week at Sainsbury's.
Ruth Burr
Ruth is married with two children, her daughter has recently left Stepping Stones to go to Knebworth school and her son will follow his sister to stepping stones as soon as is big enough. They have lived in the village for over fifteen years and for the past two years Ruth has worked on the pre School committee as treasurer. Because a lot of the previous committee stepped down this year, she wanted the preschool to see some continuity in the work to committee does, so has stayed on. Ruth works as a contractor, so swaps between full time working and not.
