The Committee

Abi Rawling
Abi and her family have lived in Knebworth for five years now. Abi works in one of the local estate agents part-time but is mostly still at home with her two children. Her son is in the smalls group at Stepping Stone and her daughter is looking forward to starting pre-school next year. Abi is enjoying being part of the committee and has recently taken on the role of secretary.

Alex Chell

Alex is married with two boys. Her eldest son recently left the top group and is now loving Reception at Knebworth Primary School. His little brother will follow in his footsteps and become a Stepping Stone boy next term. They have lived in Knebworth since 2009 and love being part of the village. Alex is a stay-at-home mum who juggles working part-time from home as a freelance graphic designer.

Charlotte Cosson

Charlotte has a daughter and a son in the top and middle groups respectively. She is currently on maternity leave following the birth of her second son in May, and hopes to return to her part-time job as an accountant in the New Year.

Natalie Von Sivers

Natalie lives in Knebworth with Sam, their three children and two Siamese cats. Her older daughter used to go to Stepping Stone and is now at Knebworth School, her son is currently in the middle group and her younger daughter should start pre-school in about a year. At the moment, Natalie is enjoying staying at home with the children.

Ruth Burr

Ruth is married with two children. Her daughter has recently left Stepping Stone to go to Knebworth School and her son will follow his sister to Stepping Stone as soon as he is big enough. They have lived in the village for over fifteen years and for the past two years Ruth has worked on the Committee as Treasurer. Because a lot of the previous committee stepped down this year, she wanted the pre-school to see some continuity in the work the committee does, so has stayed on. Ruth works as a contractor, so swaps between working full-time and not.
